DP Seals offers a complete design service and CAD support. With output as diverse as World Rally Car engines, sub-sea fibre optic cable housings and safety valves for steam cleaners, our extensive experience allows us to provide design solutions for virtually every type of application, no matter how diverse.

We continually invest in new software to simplify interfacing with our clients' design teams and their CAD processes. Our latest state-of-the-art CAD and CAM software enables us to view and manipulate 3D solid models and identify the most effective layers for tooling.

To further support our clients' developments, we also provide 3D printing services and in-house tooling.
3D Printing
3D printing is fast and - because DP Seals use a rubber-like print medium - its clients can better visualise the end result and identify potential design faults early, further speeding the development process.
To print rubber-like materials with elastomeric characteristics - various Shore A hardness values, elongation at break, tear resistance and tensile strength - DP Seals has partnered with one of the UK’s leading high-resolution 3D printing companies. This level of flexibility is crucial to the prototyping process in order to show fitting such as male to female mating, or cable feed-through, so allowing the client to iron out problems and make modifications prior to committing the tooling.

The direct link to the pre-programmed CNC machines in our tool room ensures prototype development is achieved in optimum time without compromising precision or quality.
