Cryogenic cleaning is just the start
Our fully-automated, CNC-controlled cryogenic de-flashing machines are some of the most advanced of their kind in the world. Fed from a new 5,300 litre tank of liquid nitrogen, they freeze components up to their 'glass temperature (Tg) - down to -130°C if necessary - and then 'shot blast' them with polycarbonate beads to remove the now-brittle flash.
These computer-controlled machines have made the essential cleaning process faster, more efficient and more effective than ever.
DP Seals has six product-specific cleaning systems installed: two cryogenic deflashing units and four water-based ceramic cleaning systems. So, whatever the nature or composition of your finished product, we'll make sure it's free from flash and other defects.
